I want to share 5 Why’s to doing this and leading it

  1. God has put it on my heart for a while that now is the time for me personally to get my body in order. for many reasons and over many year’s God has called me to grow in disicpline and routine, and I have always hoped someone would come along and do it with me or even for me. But that never happened. in London I felt a real tangible send and word from God that NOW is the time. Then crazy circumstance of buying a house, and learning we’re having a son has confirmed that it’s NOW.
  2. Because Men everywhere are struggling. Feminized culture, not feeling seen or heard, turning to bad actors like andrew tate, or bad habits like addiction, extremist online groups, conspiracy’s, gaming, gambling. Especially young men. Not finding mates, not feeling strong, being emasculated constantly etc etc etc. We need each other, we need to be seen. We need risk and adventure. We need fun, we need friendship.
  3. Threats are everywhere. The older I get and more attention I pay to real reporting and story telling. Islamization of western cities, predatory men wanting our daughters, bad ideas becoming mind viruses, authoritarian leaders preying on anger and resentment. Physical protection. If I said what is true about the life of mohammed, Our whole church would not feel safe on a sunday. That’s NUTS. false accusations from trusted peers
  4. Whether we like it or not, men are built for leadership in a unique way. Women have unique leadership skills that we need at the highest levels of leadership, but so do men. We need to own this importance communally and societally. Our families NEED us to lead from our masculinity. Not from our wives femininity. our family's NEED her femininity equally. No doubt. But your kids, my kids, NEED us, and need the healthiest, most present, most secure us.
  5. Missional opportunity: harvest is plentiful, workers are few. Stats on men coming to faith and their family following. Perreto principle applies.

Here are 5 concise, powerful why's for the Men's League Challenge launch:

  1. Personal Calling: God has placed it on my heart that NOW is the time to get my body in order. Years of waiting for someone else to lead this have passed—buying a house and expecting a son have confirmed this is my moment to act.
  2. Men Are Struggling: Men everywhere are lost—turning to toxic influencers, addiction, and isolation. We're being emasculated and need each other. We need risk, adventure, friendship, and to be seen. Failure to launch. Longterm societal effects.
  3. Real Threats Demand Strength: Dangers are growing—radical ideologies, predatory men, false accusations. We need to be physically and mentally prepared to protect what matters most.
  4. Leadership Matters: Men are uniquely built for leadership. We must own this responsibility for our families, churches, and communities.
  5. Missional Impact: The harvest is plentiful, but workers are few. When men come to faith, their families follow. This is our Pareto moment—20% effort with 80% impact.
